Hanagasumi - Flower Haze

Hanagasumi (花霞) is a Japanese word used to describe the scene with many blossoms – literally translated as the “flower haze”. 

Cherry blossom season in Brooklyn runs from mid March to late April. In fact, different varieties of cherry trees blossom at different times in the spring. The first bloom means cherry blossom season has kicked off - a time also known as hanami, or the Japanese cultural tradition of savoring every moment of the season.
