Renaissance Faire

New York Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo Park, NY is a festival held to recreate the arts and history of the Renaissance era. The festival celebrates the reign of Queen Elizabeth I but the time periods vary from 1300 to 1800 set in England, Scotland and France.

The faire offers lots of entertainment, from jousting to sword fighting and Shakespeare to comedy and magic. Entertainers and vendors are almost always dressed in costumes that are nearly historically accurate for their character.
