Pipilotti Rist : Pixel Forest

After constantly seeing Facebook posts about the Pixel Forest exhibition by Pipilotti Rist at New Museum on my timeline, I finally decided to pay my visit last week and see what all the hype is about. The line outside stretched around the block and people were waiting for hours to get inside. I already had the ticket so I was lucky enough to get in right away.

The exhibit represents the female body in popular culture, to her recent expansive video installations, which transform architectural spaces into massive dreamlike environments enhanced by hypnotic musical scores.
